Whether you’re an active agent or simply real estate obsessed, these real estate blogs offer great insights into the business. If you have any real estate blogs you love, let us know on our Facebook or Twitter!
Many agents are familiar with Inman as one of the thought leaders in the real estate industry. One thing we appreciate about the site is its in-depth coverage of real estate technology and current trends agents should be aware of. The News covers everything from previously mentioned tech to how to market yourself online. If you choose to subscribe to Inman Select, which we suggest, you’ll have access to market analysis, reports, and helpful webinars.
Although you have to be a subscriber to access most of the content in the Wall Street Journal’s real estate section, there is still a wide range of free content available. We particularly enjoy the WSJ House of the Day, and were fortunate enough to include one of these houses on our own Hip List. See it, HERE.
CultureMap is a great site if you want to catch up on your local scene. They cover everything from events to news centered on local music, food, design and more. But for our purposes, their real estate section has both commercial and residential real estate trends. They showcase interesting properties on the market and provide current market stats relevant to the local industry.
Realtor.com is another standard for agents looking for real estate trends. Search market information by state that includes everything from a brief market summary to home prices and lifestyle. If you’d like to catch up on your pop culture, they also have a section on celebrity real estate.
Curbed mainly focuses on urban environments, and gives a pleasant twist to real estate news by providing witty and insightful coverage of the industry. The site offers sales and rental news, but they also cover a city’s cultural and lifestyle events. Another feature is showing some of the world’s most interesting architecture, like this Dome Home north of NYC.
For agents interested in pre-MLS and pocket listings, look no further than our very own blog. Follow us for trends in the private real estate industry and look for new entries to our Hip List, featured properties that are currently listed on our site.
